The Divine Plan: God's Map of Israel

Ezekiel tells us that one day in the future, all Jews will return to their native homeland in Israel. While all of us are very familiar with Israel as a country today, before the midpoint of the 20th century, a Jewish Israel did not even exist. In fact, it was referred to as Palestine. One of the conditions required for Jesus Christ's second coming is Jewish ownership of Israel as spoke of in numerous New Testament books. After World War 2 the Jews as a people were tired of persecution and interested in uniting under the banner of a single nation once again. The World offered the Jews Uganda, but the United States and Great Britain came up with a better idea. In 1948 they gave them back the land of Israel and in doing so, put the Jews back on God's map of Israel; Israel as it was intended. Since then, Jews from countries all over the world have been returning to their homeland. It would seem as if the prophecy is being fulfilled. Further down the line on God's map of Israel, Jesus Christ will return and reign for 1000 magnificent years. It's a glorious time to be alive, knowing that such an event is possible within our lifetimes. His subsequent re-taking of Jersualem ("the city of the great King" (Psalm 48:2) ) and the disappearance of terrorism from the region are surely wonderful things to look forward too. So when asked about your feelings about Israel and politics, consider first what God's map of Israel looks like, and then give your answer.
